SAL Table Top models 400 L / 1000 L

The unique 400 L salt spray cabinet can be placed either on an existing laboratory table or on the original VLM support. This offers the most convenient and space saving configuration of the cabinet, test solution reservoir and water purification plant. Only compressed air has to supplied. If there is no central plant you will find very low-noise compressors among the accessories.
Front door opening cabinets allow most convenient loading of the chamber particularly with hanging specimen. Moreover the cleaning of the chamber is easy. Due to the high level of the drain port there will be enough downward slope to the comonly installed siphons. The side walls of the chamber are made of polyethylene with milled holes for the specimen support. The water trough, the back wall and the inner roof are made of stainless steel coated with Halar® (ECTFE). This unique design allows a quick transfer of the heat into the chamber. Together with the advanced temperature control system best conditions for the precise tempering of the chamber are provided.
For that reason SAL cabinets can also be applied to conducting of high humidity tests after the extension by the working system „CON“.

Table top cabinets as well as chest type models are furnished with peristaltic or digital diaphragma dosing pumps. Hence the testsolution is distributed to the spray nozzle independently from the air pressure. So the finess of the fog resp. the droplets can be affected.

SAL chest type models HD 600 L / 1000 L

The chambers of VLM salt spray cabinets are supported by robust stainless steel frames. Due to their high load capacity these models are suitable for heavy specimens. Which can be loaded into the chamber by a jack from above. Therefore the transparent cover can be opened very wide.
The front walls of the chamber are made of polyethylene with milled holes for the specimen support. The water trough, the inner walls are made of stainless steel coated with Halar® (ECTFE). This unique design allows a quick transfer of the heat into the chamber. Together with the advanced temperature control system best conditions for the precise tempering of the chamber are provided.
This design offers the possibility, to readapt further working systems if there is a need for later.

Saltspray cabinets chest type „Economy“ 600 L / 1000 L

This new product range is focused on the requirements of standard salt spray tests, as well as Prohesion, CASS, and similar tests. The design meets the requirements of customers with small budgets. However, this does not mean
any renunciation from our high quality standards. The walls of the chamber are made of polypropylene whereas the water trough is made of stainless steel coated with Halar® a fluorine polymer commonly used in chemical engineering. This unique design offers a far better heat transfer compared to full plastic cabinets. The heat will be transferred into the testing chamber not only very fast but also evenly as the heaters are mounted directly below the whole area of the water trough. Hence, these chests can also be used for high humidity test .
Moreover this innovative design in combination with the microprocessor controllers is the key for a high accuracy and stability of the chamber temperature. You can rely on a good reproducibility of the climate conditions.
The transparent cover made of acrylic glass allows a permanent sight into the chamber. You can see what happened inside have the process watched by a webcam.
After evacuating the fog you can view your specimens whilst the chamber remains closed. The cover is sealed tight by a siliconfoam seal and will be
closed by an turnable knob lock. Compared to the wet seal by a water trough this kind of sealing is not only more convenient but more prevents the laboratory from
contamination of salt fog under any conditions.
